Steve was so friendly and knowledgeable of the area.We booked a night-time stargazing excursion which was really brilliant. We were collected by a minibus locally and taken to the Tiede National Park, where we enjoyed a glass of fizz as we watch the sun go down. Then taken further into the park to stargaze. The whole evening lasted from 8pm until 12.30am and was worth every penny.
We also booked the Siam Water Park through Top 10 Excursions and, again, reliable pickup up and return journeys.

Steve helped us pick the Stargazing Expedition and was helpful in the process. Some of the other operators on the island take coaches of people up to stargaze where the one recommended by Steve was a smaller group and felt a bit more personalised! highly recommend.

You will be picked up from your accommodation in the South of Tenerife and taken up to a viewpoint to watch the sunset over the islands of La Palma La Gomera and El Hierro. Celebrate this unique experience with the sun shining through a glass of Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) we provide!
After sunset, we will transfer to another viewpoint in the Teide National Park for stargazing. To enjoy the details of the visible objects, we use a 12" Dobsonian telescope.
Depending on the time of the year, you will see:
✩ The Moon, which will be our main focus the days before full moon
✩ The planets when they are visible in the sky (normally in the summer and autumn months),
✩ Beautiful galaxies, nebulae and star clusters such as the Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters in the constellation of Taurus (in winter).
We use laser pointers to show you and explain the names and the constellations, how to find Polaris, the North Star, how to find the Andromeda galaxy and learn some Greek mythology.
We will take photos of the guests individually using astrophotography techniques that show the blanket of stars above you.
Finally, we will take you back to your hotel with great memories!
